    I worked at Goodman Masson full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Great learning ground if you're young and if you're an older recruiter you will be rewarded with the freedom to flourish. GM do truly offer a great opportunity to grow your career whilst making some good money with superb leadership. This company treats people with respect and the confidence to go out and build a brand for yourself and teach people how to do business the right way. The leadership and mentor guidance from the top is second to none. It was a real joy to go to work everyday. Clients and Candidates liked hearing from us. It all sounds to good to be true but they are genuinely one of the best contingent recruiters to work for in the City. I wish them the best for the future and will keep a fond eye on how they progress.

    Maybe location but its no big deal.

    Keep doing what you're doing and rewarding the entrepreneur.

    Approach to business development, great and consistent training which isn't generically forced but tailored to you, strong management team who are transparent and involved in the business, loads of benefits and they look after all of their people. Continued development opportunities at all levels - very clear career path

    Cons

    Outside of the meeting room suites, the sales floor itself could do with a facelift!

    Pros

    Successful growing and one of the most respected in what they do. Times top 100 place to work 2 yeras in a row (top 10 both years!) a leader in employee engagement. Loads of training, not afriad to spend money on th their people. Great culture, nice people.

    Cons

    The lifts can be a bit dodgy!

    High starting salary by recruitment standards.
    Central office location
    Benefit scheme

    Cons

    Staff are at best unprofessional, recent mistakes including insulting HR managers while the person was still on the other end of the line.
    Poor management structure with a lack of clarity in objectives.
     Despite having very clear targets set in place. Staff are expected to stay well past co reacted working hours. This does not apply to the inner circle of employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Cut down on the heavy party culture, lets just say this goes beyond casual drinks. Heavily prevalent in this organisation.
    Give new starters realistic expectations. Inform them at interview stage that they will be expected to work more than the allotted hours even after completion of active projects
