    Pros

People were great - technical challenges were rewarding, decent opportunities for cross division collaboration. Great support for pursuing patents.

    Cons

Promotion opportunities were slow - but I was used to small company environment and understand that the constraints of a larger company means more bureaucracy.

    Pros

It was my first job (hired on as an intern in college, started full time after graduation). A lot of people there were lifers and seemed to not mind the place. It was a pretty relaxed atmosphere.

    Cons

I didn't learn much about engineering. Most of the focus was on lean manufacturing.

    Advice to Management

If you're going to hire engineers, put them in engineering jobs.

Look to Google and modern day companies on how you need to act , retain young talent and old talent. East coast is not necessarily the Right coast.
