    Pros

Great pay, work whenever convenient for you. The free food is simply amazing. Lots of perks like massages, micro kitchens, tech talks. The tech stops and hardware depots are great assets, you can go pick up headphones or a new keyboard and mouse for office use. The work place is very open, interaction with other employees is very easy. It is filled with very intelligent and fun people. The company is very open, you can ask questions directly to the CEO or Founders during TGIF question and answer sessions. Interns don't get nearly as much perks and benefits as full time employees, but that's expected. Google probably has one of the highest pays for interns. It is definitely one of the best places to work at.

    Cons

Promotions don't seem to happen too often due to the fact that there is very short chain of command and little bureaucracy.

    Advice to Management

Give more incentive and encourage to do longer intern terms so they are not forced to work on small isolated projects most of time with little visibility to the rest of the engineers on the team.

I have been working at Google full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

+ Highest pay around. + Free meals & food, transportation, housing, gym access, car sharing. + Access to the brightest minds in the industry. + Chance to work on real, production code that will be used while you still work there.

    Cons

Honestly, I have had nothing but a good experience working here.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work! Keep on integrating interns into the core of company life: encourage meetings and access to management.

I have been working at Google part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great flexibility and very friendly work environment.

I have been working at Google as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

You work with the smartest engineers in the world. You solve very difficult problems. You eat delicious food.

    Cons

You eat too much delicious food. On a more serious note, it may be a bit difficult to separate work from life because of how closely Google seems to integrate its people. You'll have to work very hard to have a life outside of your code.

    Advice to Management

The recruitment process sometimes seems a little messy.

I have been working at Google as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Google treats interns even better than full time employees. All of the employees all the way up to VP personally spend time with you and take your opinion.

    Cons

The hiring process at Google is really slow and not very transparant.

I have been working at Google as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Obvious pros, free food, massages, large network, TGIF

    Cons

Large company so easy to get lost, or, as an entry level employee, work on something that someone else is already working on.
