    Pros

This is company is a great place to start your career. They are big on taking in very green employees and helping them grow. You will be exposed to all levels of your career path in a short amount of time. It's a pretty young demographic so the push for fun is huge, and they do a good job of keeping it up!

    Cons

Location is not that great. Upper Management plays favorites- both individual employees and also whole departments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be a little more professional, don't gossip, and stop with the favorites!

I have been working at Gorilla Nation full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The people used to be the best reason to work there, but now most of those people have moved on.
The benefits are also pretty good.

    Cons

The review system there is rigged. Also, management stopped listening to the employees. When your boss can try to write you up for being right, there is a huge problem.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Maybe listen to your employees, and stop using a rigged review system to determine raises.

    Pros

Mid size company means - small enough to where your successes are visible and acknowledged by senior management, and in a complimenting way, large enough for vertical growth as it pertains to title.

    Cons

Few cons here that are not standard cons you will approach at majority of work places. Naturally due to the size of the company there are not as many perks as you may experience with the Google's of the world, but this is to be expected.

I have been working at Gorilla Nation

    Pros

Employees are really brought into the fold to the point where they are given quarterly information about company performance (all numbers are made visible). People that work there are generally very bright and entrepreneurial. Relaxed culture. Very interesting work, lot going on.

    Cons

Management can be a bit overambitious with what they bite off as the company continually adapts to the fast-changing space. Some low performing departments are in need of a tougher approach.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Instead of trying to add more good things to the company, try focusing on subtracting the few existing bad things first. Keeping and rewarding non-performers can poison the mentality of an entire organization.

    I worked at Gorilla Nation

    Pros

Good atmosphere, people are nice, a mix of a young and middle aged crowd. Gregarious people generally, and not too much in the way of nonsense.

    Cons

Inadequate opportunity to advance. Sometimes feels like working there was like being stagnate and I could do more for myself.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management did not really interfere much in terms of an arrogant top-down approach and mostly seemed to want to bring in employees into the fold.
