Pros
great people, strong leadership, work and life balance, open door environment, trust in employees, high expectations at all levels, cross-department job opportunities
Cons
size of the company results in some career growth limitations, gloucester location is ok but not ideal for all top talent
Advice to Senior Management
create new positions when possible to retain strongest employees, limited number of middle manager roles with direct management responsibilities exist
Pros
Reverse Commute from Boston
Good Benefits
Good work environment
Cons
Gloucester is the only office
Advice to Senior Management
With a satellite office in Boston, Gorton's would be able to recruit better talent and retain them.
Pros
Gorton's is very careful to only hire people who are a good fit for their department and since it is a great place to work people tend to stay for a long time. Personal growth is given high priority.
Cons
Because it is a small company there are limited options for advancement at the senior level
Advice to Senior Management
Keep offering many options for employees
