I have been working at Government of Andhra Pradesh full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Good training. They pay for your 215 course and state exam. Spiffs. Decent base of 15hr and 17 after 60 days

    Cons

"boiler room" call center environment making hundreds of calls per day to the same leads over and over. Decent base of $15-17hr however bonuses/comm are horrible for the amount of policys written. Top sales people that are producing 35-40 policys per month are paid little at average is $600.00 per month over the base. Many make half of this. This equates to roughly $42k per year for a top performing agent and 36k for average. PTO is only 5 days first year (includes vaca time and sick time) Work saturdays as scheduled. Half hour lunches and 2 15min breaks per day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase the incentives to the agents. $600 per month is not enough to motivate anyone. Allow 1hr lunches
