i have done my job in government most faithfully and was not punished or sensured.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

Prosjob security and pension for service. my job as a teacher and principal of Government Arts and Science College Calicut ; Maharajas College Ernakulam and Deputy Director of Collegiate Education North Zone Calicut were remarkable experience. As a teacher and administrator I have made a stamp in Kerala Government Service. As a college teacher I could work in the academic bodies of Calicut University and University of Kerala. I have made my mark on the Co-operative sector also. All these were possible only because I was in the Government service

ConsMy counterparts in Private Colleges were given political freedom. Government Employees cannot change jobs for obvious reasons.

Advice to Senior ManagementI have lots of potential and experience with which educational institutions having international standards can be developed or maintained. I need a management which is ready to give me fair hearing and is accommodating to new ideas and needs.

there is no incentive for meritorious service and too much political bias in postings.

Office Assistant (Current Employee) Trichūr (India)

Prosthe government has contributed a lot in the past in making the standard of living of the people of the state on par with that of developed nations. I wanted to be apart of this success story.

Consnow a days the administration has been plagued with inordinate delays and that has slowed down the development .there is an unhealthy trend of looking at things through a political or communal prism, and that has effected the decision-making.

Advice to Senior Managementpromotion policy should be such so that merit shall weigh more than mere seniority. political bias in postings should be avoided .officers shall have more freedom in the delivery of service to the people.
