    Never Recommended to Anyone!

Project Lead (Former Employee) Noida (India)

ProsI don't see any positives here. High attrition, employees are dissatisfied, only top management gets the opportunities and rest all seems liabilities for the company.

Consendless issues and no one really cares to resolve those
    High attrition
    Poor work life balance
    high dissatisfaction
    Low compensation
    Unfriendly and disrespectful environment
    Unbearable facilities issues
    No respect for hard work
    Unreasonable evaluation process
Bad at managing communication with employees
HR is only on papers with no real powers

All they care is cutting down even basic requirements and increasing profitability to impress the board!!

    Advice to Senior ManagementWake up!!!

    Going Worse!!!!!

Project Lead (Former Employee) Noida (India)

ProsHad a good reputation in the KPO industry, started very well and employees in general were happy and self-motivated. However, just got worse in the last few years. People (especially external talent from some good B schools) come and feel stuck up here. If you can keep your BOSS (Director) happy with some ego massaging, this place could do wonders for you

ConsWork-life balance - No body is really bothered about your work-life balance, basic expectation is to work whenever needed, be it weekends, late nights (seeing 2am, 3 am, even 5 am in office is very normal).
Employee Satisfaction - Zero, from analysts to managers to even directors, no one is happy. You hardly see any happy face around. People are so pressurized and frustrated that you feel that negativity when you are in office. No one even understands and bothered what "Employee Satisfaction" is all about. All they care is their margins and numbers. Never interested in doing employee satisfaction survey to see where they are!!
Facilities - Terrible facility, no tissues in pantry and washrooms, have to follow-up with lot of stakeholders to get some snacks to eat (which are by the way paid), coffee machine and microwave never works. You're expected to work late nights and deliver but without AC. The AC gets switched off by 8pm
HR - No control, no powers and just do what the senior management (Directors) ask them to do. Recruitment team, the company has been struggling in getting the right talent in but the Recruitment team ROCKS!! they get all the awards and recognition, how meritocratic the entire system is!!
Attrition - All time high, from analysts to managers, people come and leave, no retention policy. In fact, management responds to attrition saying this is a normal trend in industry so that's fine but never interested in doing anything
Compensation - Grail is known to train people and its competitors leverage the trained people by respecting the talent, giving better work conditions and compensation. Analysts laugh on the bonus that they get for a year after so much of hard work

    Groups-
TMT - Pathetic work life balance except a few projects. The leader himself doesn't know what to do
Life Sciences - No one likes to work with them, highly biased managers and leaders, highly unprofessional but knows how to gain attention. Most lethargic of all
Shared Services - Confused group, don't know what to do, teams in this group work like donkeys. One team does very low end work (news scanning) but pretends to be the MOST INSIGHTFUL team
CPG and QRA - Pretends to be the Quantitative Analytics experts but all they do is arranging the data in excel using filters. Lack of vision, coordination and opportunities for its teams

Grail needs a BIG REVAMPING plan with a strong leadership team.

Advice to Senior ManagementValue your people, they are the most important ASSET a company can have. Add some experienced people (20+ years of experience) who can bring some stability and know how to handle situations than having adult KIDS as part of your leadership team

    Avoid bad company

Associate Project Manager (Current Employee) Noida (India)

ProsNot much. Somehow used to be ok-ish till some years ago.. no longer. but if i have to write something here, i can say, u will learn to work HARD (what about 60 hours a week?)

    Cons1. bad organizational culture
    2. bad time managers
    3. no work life balance
    4. very little hikes, even during promotions
.. the list is long.. all the bad aspects are manifested by zero growth in the company (in headcount and revenue both) and high attrition. never join.

Advice to Senior Managementwhat started as a great potential is now struggling for direction n hope. think about something drastic to change the fortunes of the company

ProsA combination of great peer group and interesting business problems ensures really fast paced learning. The job is demanding and so not for everyone.
