    Pros

    The work, itself is great. Workload is steady to moderately heavy every day from May to September, so the workday flies! Most of the employees are great to work with and always willing to let a hand when you need it.

    Cons

    Don't work here if you have a even slightly thin skin., The owner/manager doesn't hide his lack of respect for people, either employees or customers. He fosters a very stressful, hostile work environment and although his behavior should result in the employees turning on each other, it actually unites them. You can feel the stress level rise when he's in the building. The turnover rate is unbelievable for employees and when a teenage summer can last all summer there, it's a miracle.

    Advice to Management

    Let your employees do what they do best. Don't have constantly changing expectations. Give honest POSITIVE feedback once in a while. Be able to tell the difference between a huge blunder and something that really makes no difference at all. Remember that customers are the reason you are in business and employees are the reason those customers come back. Both are valuable. Treat them that way.

    Pros

    Gain experience in thinking on your feet, sales experience, customer service experience as well as gaining connections through event rentals of companies around town. Opportunity to gain crew management and logistical knowledge.

    Cons

    Can be highly stressful with no clear solution to customer problems. Often left to own devices to solve issues when you may or may not be qualified to do so.

    Advice to Management

    Be more aware of the skills of your team and train them accordingly.
