I worked at Grand View
Pros – As a hospital, a great place for quality care and treatment of patients regardless of income or background. Practitioners and nurses really focus on doing it right the first time.
Cons – Recent changes in nursing admin have changed the atmosphere to where there is more emphasis on bottom dollar than on employees. Concept of self governance exists on paper but not practice. Management style is very top-down.
Advice to Senior Management – "The more experience the better" was part of the motto, but you are willing to let an awful lot of experience to walk out the door.

I have been working at Grand View
Pros – the only good thing about working at grand view is if you need experience in the medical field, they can give it to you easy. you'll get the experience and maybe if you're lucky you'll realize that the medical field is not the way to go as far as hospital settings.
Cons – Overworked, taken advantage of, usually in charge of 14 patients per worker, coworkers are disrespectful, makes promises and doesn't keep them.
Advice to Senior Management – I would say to Grand View to do a better job at listening to the complaints that come in from staff. Maybe ask the workers what they think should be improved or what they think should happen with the company. I feel like GVH has really gone down hill since I had first started working there.
