Current Employee – been working at Grant Supplies
Pros – It is a very good place to improve your knowledge of products and your own skills of sales / purchasing together. There's a few & least rules that controls and direct you how to work, which means you biuld up your small store at your desk. The people you face everyday is open-mind people that helps you work and cares about you & your family.
Cons – No evaluation or recognition of employees at all.
Promotion allowed only president's family or few people in the know.
The least salary in this industry.
Only 2 big things to evaluate employees and negotiate salary : 1. Being on time( punch in-out), 2. sales amount
Advice to Senior Management – needs a professional & well educated & long experienced GM & management.
Managers need not only the duties ,but the rights like the authority over personnel affairs and the sales allowance.
Don't treat your employee like a diposal battery & Stop throwing a dollar store gift at the company party.

Pros – One of upside is the fact that you do not need much experience to get a job with Grant. Or at least thats how it used to be. Grant pay less than other companies but you can gain experience for future job.
Cons – Management is incompetent! No direction, no sharing information on what is going on. NO employee recognition. They will throw few toasters and microwaves at employees at Christmas party then talk about how much they appreciate their work. In reality its big fat lie and no amount of cheap gifts or christmas bonuses will fix lack of respect for employees.
Advice to Senior Management – RECOGNIZE YOUR EMPLOYEES!!! And hire competent management!
