Former Employee – worked at Graphic Packaging Holding as an intern for less than a year
Pros – This company has good values, they would pray before meetings and were always direct and honest. Great pay, $20/hr for engineering intern.
Cons – The facilities are a little run down, it's really hot in some areas.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Graphic Packaging Holding full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Company continues to focus on growth. Has made great strides in cleaning up the balance sheet. They are now poised for becoming a legitimate publicly traded company.
Cons – Work life balance can be a struggle at times. There are certain departments that have better work life balance than others.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to do what you are doing. Look inside to continue to grow and develop talent. There are a lot of bright individuals looking for long lasting careers.

Current Employee – been working at Graphic Packaging Holding full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – consistant paycheck, lots of overtime, you can work 7 days a week 24 hours a day if you want, good work force
Cons – worst place I have ever worked in 30 year career, This company is so dishonest and unethical, it is horrifying that a company can still exist like this
Advice to Senior Management – start over

Former Employee – worked at Graphic Packaging Holding full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Great benifits and above average pay. I spent 36 years working for them and felt very secure for myself and my family. They spend alot of time and money on training to keep the highest quality employees.
Cons – Unfortunatly, like most large companies, they got too big too fast. They lost sight of the importance of balancing the quality of work life and quality of home life.
Advice to Senior Management – Bring back the atmosphere of being a working family and not managment against the hourly employee.

Former Employee – worked at Graphic Packaging Holding full-time
Pros – - Stable industry
= Good people to work with in the manufacturing plants
= Career flexibility within a large organization
Cons – - Wasted investment in culture improvement - identifying root causes of poor culture should be free if you pay attention to employee feedback and trends in turnover. Talking to some ex=peers, company has begun utilizing a 3rd party exit interviewer to collect feedback from employees leaving the company. I have heard of a couple of people leaving this year that were never interviewed....hmmmmm....sounds like 'selective exit interviewing'. Not a good culture statement.
- Wrong people in leadership roles - subject expertise is optional and tends to get in the way of political ambitions. Heard one senior manager claim 'I've made a career out of getting others to do my job for me.' And one should ask....is that leadership, laziness or just ignorance? P.S. favortism does win over performance on many occasions.
- Company acts more like the GE of packaging - touting how they move their money around by refinancing, senior notes, etc. - they provide too little focus and visibility on manufacturing performance.
- Instead of recognizing available capacity due to their publicized 'continuous improvement strategy', they throw capital at new equipment - poor leadership and resource awareness.
Advice to Senior Management – Reverse the cons.

Current Employee – been working at Graphic Packaging Holding full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Good pay, challenging both physically and mentally !
Cons – Went through expansion and hasn't fully developed yet!! Lots of room for improvements, but seems everyone is to busy chasing after the ball to do anything about improving the plant. Swing shifts are a killer!!
Advice to Senior Management – Communication is key! Need to staff the engineering dept. a bit more to level out machinery, and also work with scheduling for less scheduled downtime.

Current Employee – been working at Graphic Packaging Holding full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Salary and benefits were solid
Cons – Stress, 70 hours+ a week, 24/7 coverage, poor management communication, lost sight of the people that make them successful "the hourly associates" ; changed from caring about their staff then everyone became a number and until they admit what they've done the company will continue to deterate into the olf GPI a none money maker!
Advice to Senior Management – LISTEN TO YOUR TEAMS AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!! KEEP THE EQUIPMENT IN CORRECT WORKING COBDIYION!!!!!

Former Employee – worked at Graphic Packaging Holding full-time for less than a year
Pros – Compensation and liked the work. Very safety conscience.
Cons – No real leadership, training awful, and a I will get you before you get me mentality. Career opportunities are friends and family, business acumen and KSA's do not matter.
Advice to Senior Management – Work on the culture at the Kendallville plant. Management says one thing in orientation but the actual work environment is hostile. Employees are not satisfied with the environment, communication is awful and training is non existent. Most do not care about quality if push comes to shove they will send scrap. Sustainability is at risk.

Current Employee – been working at Graphic Packaging Holding full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – The only pro is you can make a good living when you work overtime.
Cons – The company does not care about its employees, there are no bonuses or incentives of any kind & now they want to take away overtime pay. What's next?
Advice to Senior Management – Stop taking from middle class workers & treat people like human beings. You already make millions why isn't that enough? Think about the future of America when you make business decisions & stop being so selfish. Selfishness doesn't get you into heaven......
