    Pros

Excellent perks/benefits. Work-life balance. Stress handling job. Travel!!! ( I really miss this)
Seeing how the work and projects I did tied back into the company mission, and working with many different cultures from around the world were major highlights for me. I felt I was accomplishing something everyday. I also met so many great people that I still keep in touch with. I wouldn't mind working here again.

    Cons

Compensation - it could be higher.

    Advice to Management

Need to focus more on supporting GHQ. Too many problems and drama with affiliates.

    Pros

The people and office environment is good! Also it's nice to feel that you're a full member even when you're in your probation period.

    Cons

Salary is below average, and almost no benefits. And even though the company has been in business for years, it has the structure of a startup.

    Advice to Management

Planning and priority setting is more important than you think. It's not just about having a fun workplace.

    Pros

Very positive attitudes about what work can be like and most of the staff are great! Cool location in the SF Financial District, easy to get to other things located near it and to commute to it.

    Cons

They are struggling with possible mergers and creating enough revenue to expand.

Very friendly staff and you get lots of free snacks/lunch.

    Cons

Poor leadership, disorganized work system, and low retention rate.

You really can't give advice to management when management is the problem.

    Pros

    Casual atmosphere
    Great company mission
Depth of company insights and access to top executives makes influencing possible

    Cons

Far too much politics and too little integrity/ethics in senior management
No vision or strong leadership for how to leverage pros
Several CEOs in 4-5 years - I think managers think they run the show now (but managers - e.g. AVPs - are too young and inexperienced)
-Don't understand how to be an advisory/consulting firm

    Advice to Management

-You need to focus less on who you "like" and who is good for helping you carry out your mission
-Senior management needs to get their act together - it's embarrassing to not have people who can articulate, plan and execute a vision!
-You need stricter standards on how managers treat employees - it's very inconsistent and good treatment seems biased towards a certain type of person
-To be a consulting firm, you need products/services, you need to treat consultants with more intelligence, and you need your AVPs and new hires to understand business & strategy so they can talk to clients and develop the right products/services to meet their needs
