I have been working at Grede full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Its a steady job and could be a good place to work if you would pay your maintenance people right or let the most qualified work the overtime instead of letting a senior man who was given the job because of his race card who falls asleep on his shift

    Cons

Senior.men there for 30 years act like idiots and the head supervisor let's them run the place

I worked at Grede full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Work hours were just what I was looking for. Upper management was open to communication, friendly.

    Cons

Communication could be improved. Hard work for little pay. When on medical leave the company dismissed my position with no position to replace when returning.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should consider that some situations are out of the employees hands. If an employee is a good worker then there should be open choices to return and not terminated.

    I worked at Grede full-time

    Pros

There are no positives to working for this company. They do not care about their employees. The pay is minimal and they do not care how they treat you or what they say to you.

    Cons

Work 12 hour days 7 days a week. The company only cares about if they meet deadlines. They absolutely do not care about workers' health or whether they are fair in their treatment.

I have been working at Grede

    Pros

It used to be a fair employer its a job tell you find a beter one and they are always looking for hard workers

    Cons

I have a felling that they are trying to keep a younger work force and have stream lined to the point of safty this foundry does not even have first responders on sight for safty and have a zero tollarence for accedents so employed workers dont report for fear of loosing there job. they also turn a blind to employed worker input there is a lot of say one thing and do another going on there

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

listen to your work force Bruce Jacobs would and act on it ......
