    Pros

some of the workers are nice and considerate others are the worst I have ever worked with, backstabbers inconsiderate and only out for them selves and they don't even realize all the crap they are pulling will screw them in the end by creating a hostile work environment.

    Cons

work the crap out of you while on probation. supervisors will lie and screw you any chance they get. some of the employees start trouble and think its funny. employees against employees

    Advice to Management

be considerate treat people like people and stop trying to screw people

    Pros

Very good experience for first internship and utilized engineering skills. As an intern I was well promoted among the mill leadership.

    Cons

Some work was repetitive as with any internship but could have handled more project wise.

    Pros

The work is easy, no skills needed really. If you can stand, bend, lift 25 lbs, and do basic math you will succeed here. Pay is better than most box shops.

    Cons

Repetitive work that is not very stimulating. Weak senior management leadership is evident by the lack of communication, poor middle management integrity, and a culture of punishing those that take the initiative to solve problems.

    Advice to Management

    Increasing the transparency

    Pros

Great place to work for anyone who needs to earn a solid hourly rate. Can work up through levels and get certified for many jobs in plant if you want. This takes time as it is a seniority based system of promotion.

    Cons

Can be stressful when busy, deadlines can be short, must pay attention to detail and not make errors. Write ups/disciplinary actions are common for minor infractions or mistakes made. Rework is common when others do not follow job requirements.

    Advice to Management

Let workers do there jobs. When something fails, let it go and move on. Listen to employees who have ideas on how to make jobs faster and easier and implement changes. Get rid of employees who fail to keep up with technology or requirements of their jobs no matter how long they have been there. Mr. Kress could make a visit to see how the place is doing once in awhile.

    Pros

It has been around a long time and should stay that way, People you work with are good,

    Cons

Was once a family run company but Will Kress is not his father or grandfather doesn't care much about his employees.

    Advice to Management

More respect to employees less infighting.

    Pros

Very solid business plan, privately held, still run by the same family that founded the company in the 30's. People are treated well.

    Cons

Because it's a stable environment, advancement takes longer. It's a trade off between advancement opportunities abd stability. If the company had 20% turnover, advancement would be easier. But 20% turnover means that in 5 years, you're gone too.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!
