I have been working at Green Tree full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Management is accessible, communicative. Good merit structure and yearly reviews.

    Cons

There seems to be a large layer of bureaucracy to get things done - i.e. you need to have a form signed from supervisor to get direct debit of reimbursements. No one seems to know what other employees do and its very jargon heavy. I guess that comes with the territory, but it can be confusing for new employees.

    Pros

Provide adequate training, steady hours, decent pay, monthly bonus', terrific health benefits (health, dental, vision, life/disability, 401-k), earn upto 28 paid days off annually.

    Cons

Next to impossible to get paid time off when needed or wanted, even when vacation hours have been earned and accrued. Time off hours have to be justified by first availabilty, then attendance, amount of OT worked, monthly stats, and then finally by seniority. Sounds fair, but what if you have met all the requirements and still cannot use PTO (unless someone is dead or dying)? There are also constant changes in procedures, with little to no warning, that effect you monthly stats. There are other departments, within the company, who don't perform tasks in timely fashion which effects overall performance for employees when dealing with customer accounts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The left hand needs to be more aware of what the right hand is doing. If Green Tree's idea is "relationships that work", why don't internal department relations work better to make external relations more pleasant?

What's the point of paid time off, if it cannot be used? Happy employees make for a better attendance record, more enthusiastic work experience, better monthly stats, and a lower turn over rate for the company.

    Pros

    a paycheck, not a good one...but one

    Cons

Miro Managed. Not Helpful Not encouraging -Only reward advancements to the employees they like the best, no matter how hard you work. No ones watching the goverment here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should be more supportive to thier employees that they see working hard. Promote with in the company and show employees they have the ablity to advance and grow with in the company. There should be more requlation of how managment is making thier decisions and treating thier employees.
