    Heavy client interaction
Very intelligent consultants who are knowledgeable about the space and passionate about their jobs

    Pros

Never any down time so the time goes by quickly.

    Cons

Management out of touch with production capabilities and limitations. People blaming each other for everything instead of working together to solve issues and make something work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do what you can to discourage blaming others. Accept responsibility instead of blaming the people you manage.

    Pros

You will meet some pretty great people that are just starting off their careers. Unfortunately, they will have left after 1-2 years due to terrible management and career progression....

    Cons

The management - a bunch of ridiculous people that act like they care about something more than their title and lining their pockets..... these people couldn't care less that you do all of the work that support the firm but get close to nothing in terms of pay. As for career progression? Get ready to be promoted into the same role with the same responsibilities and a slight change in salary! You will work 830am-11pm most nights while the marketing team down the hall works 9-5 on the dot and gets double your salary.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look around and see who's doing your work, its not the people that sit around and take 1-hour lunch breaks and chit chatting all day. Time and time again people have been telling you the issue but you do nothing! Raise the salaries substantially of you sell side employees. And if its because of a budget thing, slash you buy side budget in half. They only do half a days work each day anyways...

    Pros

There are some very bright and talented people who work at GA who are both willing and able to give you a deep knowledge of market research, consulting, client services, and financial services

    Cons

Inept middle management, bad comp, unbelievable bureaucracy for a small company, little vision from senior management, not a meritocracy, "restructuring" once every 5-8 months
