    Pros

Working with great brands and some smart, creative people.

    Cons

Communication amongst teams is limited and lacking. Rare face to face interface which causes for miscommunication. Transparency with career opportunities could be better.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need greater top down communication, not only about Grey's latest achievements.

I worked at Grey Group full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great location. Great office space. Some smart, dedicated people.

    Cons

Feels like there is no internal business strategy beyond land new clients. Which may work for a small or even mid-size agency but Grey is too big to get away with that. A lot falls through the cracks and gets lost. People have almost no idea what's being done by people who sit a few desks away. There is an almost manic sense of "aren't we great and fun and the best place to work!!!" expressed by the leadership but it feels really forced. In reality people work crazy hours for very little in return. Don't feel supported. Feels like you need to perform in lockstep with everyone else or you're out. If this is what it feels like to work here now, at the pinnacle of landing big clients and winning big awards, I dread what it'll be like the day business takes a downturn.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Time to invest in some internal business strategy so we actually feel some cohesiveness rather than having it force fed to us.

I have been working at Grey Group full-time

    Pros

Grey has a great culture. People are friendly and there is plenty of opportunity to produce good work.

    Cons

The salaries are not the best and it is really hard to get a raise. They justify their bad payment to the fact that they are agency of the year.
Depending on the team you work for, you might be spending long nights and weekends at the office.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Mentorship is needed. There is a huge lack of leadership when it comes to CDs and GCDs.

    Pros

Policies , systems , processes are clearly defined . People are helpful . I am a new joinee and there is no HR in this office to help me understand things. However co workers have stepped up beautifully . Alot of transparency in terms of vendor payments etc . Freedom to do business as you want .

    Cons

Alot of reporting - time sheets etc .

    Pros

Grey is filled with very talented people that work hard and care about the accounts they work on.

    Cons

You don't get much respect if you don't work on one of the high profile accounts

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to give some thanks to all the people working hard on accounts that don't ever have a chance to win at the shows. They help pay the bills.

    Pros

MOST of the people. They have some really great employees at Grey. People that make you want to come in to the office. Unfortunately, they have a few employees at some senior level positions that make it a miserable place to work.

    Cons

Probably the most arrogant bunch of senior management I've ever met. It would be one thing if they consistently did good work across all of their brands. Unfortunately, they only do good work on some of their brands and they neglect a lot of the others.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Listen to your employees.
