I have been working at Griffin Technology full-time

    Pros

Laid back environment, friendly people, good healthcare, casual attire, lots of collaboration, minimal accountability. If you are looking for a nice friendly place to work with a really casual environment this is the place for you.

    Cons

Disorganized, minimal accountability, poorly defined rolls, low wages and at best there is no communication of a long term strategy, at worst there is no long term strategy. If you are looking to work for a company that will challenge you succeed and give you the tools to do succeed, hold you accountable for your failure and reward you for your successes then this is not the company for you.

    Advice to Management

We appreciate the great work environment but this is a business and we are professionals. Provide a long term strategy, measure our performance relative to achieving that strategy and hold us accountable or reward us accordingly.

    Pros

Great people to work with, laid back environment

    Cons

New management has come in and run the place into the ground. Staff morale at an ultimate low.

I worked at Griffin Technology full-time

    Pros

Pretty good benefits, including 401k matching. Relaxed work environment. Management is accessible. Opportunities for internal advancement and lateral moves.

    Cons

Lack of resources combined with the need to support and improve a large existing product catalog can result in limited ability to develop new ideas that depend upon the skill sets of multiple teams.

    Advice to Management

New managers just joining the company could benefit from mentorship and better defined goals. Learn how to empower the innovators in the company, or risk becoming irrelevant.

I have been working at Griffin Technology full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pros include a laid-back work environment and good insurance benefits.

    Cons

Communication throughout the company is poor. Upper management doesn't seem to realize how big the company is and that it can't be run like a startup anymore. Salaries are NOT competitive, and raises are few and far between, making it seem that management doesn't value their employees. Budgets are incredibly tight, making it very hard to progress with new projects or ideas. Organization and leadership is poor. Company moral is low and social events are few and far between. Overall, it seems like an uphill battle all of the time, with no end in sight.

    Advice to Management

Exercise some leadership, promote company moral, and pay employees fairly.

    Advice to Management

    fix the problems with sales

    Pros

Casual atmosphere, you can push projects through that you feel strongly about, people are friendly and fun to be around.

    Cons

Communication is a real problem as the company grows. It seems like people get fired out of the blue often.

    Advice to Management

Make your expectations known! Allow unpaid vacation time. Hire quality people so you don't have to fire them so often.

    Pros

This company offered me with good compensation and benefits. Senior management in this company provides excellent leadership to the team.

    Cons

Work/Life balance is one of the weakness of the company. Overtime working is unavoidable during peak seasons.
