    Gross

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsI loved my employees and the donors and appreciated the fact that the end result was saving people's lives.

    ConsEverything
    - Stressful
    - No work/life balance
    - Unrealistic expectations with no resources to get the job done (no support)

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your employees when they try to reach out to you for issues in the Centers. Don't assume you know the answer, especially if you've never worked in a Center. Don't hold high expectations for your mediocrity.

Not around long enough to know...

    Project Manager (Former Employee)
    Emeryville, CA

ProsThe senior management seemed saavy of the public relations game when acquiring the Diagnostics and Vaccines division.

ConsMiddle management is often the lynchpin of a successful corporate career. I'm not sure about the quality of their middle management so I cant say its a con.The little I experience I had with them doesnt bode well.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet rid of middle management

    Horrible Upper Management

    Accounts Payable (Former Employee)
    Los Angeles, CA

    ProsThe pay check will cash.

ConsBig corporate mentality that runs with "sweatshop" tactics. HR has no clue when dealing with associate problems. Absolutely no work life balance here. They will squeeze every minute out of you...even if it means NOT paying you for it. A/P department is overworked with a many internal problems. The Senior managers are the biggest problem. Run, don't walk from a position in the A/P Dept.

Actual work was decent, employees and management upper management all crooked!!

    Medical (Former Employee)

ProsThe pay was awesome! And seeing the donors of all walks of life

ConsThe employees who gave a crap about their job where dumped upon! The ones who didn't care (and admitted) continued to be rewarded! If you are a hard worker and want to advance you CANNOT do that in this company- only if you kiss butt or worse!!!

Advice to Senior ManagementIt wouldn't do any good- all of management is corrupt and don't give a crap about ethics!!!

Senior leaders with no integrity or ethics

    Regional Manager (Current Employee)

ProsThe Grifols family is wonderful, their leaders in the U.S.,not so much. Although the focus on work/ life balance is great. Good values there at least.

ConsYou will only do well if you never stand up for what is right, slide things under the rug and say yes to everything your manager asks you to do. Such a model is set from the U.S. CEO on down.

Advice to Senior ManagementLeaders in Spain need to look at what is right and not just promoting friends into leadership position. U.S. HR leadership and CEO are crooked, take a deeper look. Bring back the old HR Director who at least cared about the employees.
