ProsGenerally speaking all of the faculty and staff are wonderful to work with and the atmosphere created for students is top notch.

El Cajon, CA

Former Employee – worked at Grossmont College

ProsBenefits (excellent) - Medical, dental, vision, insurance all free for the entire family with excellent copays.
Work-Life Balance - arranged a schedule that allowed me to drop my kids off at school

ConsYou must pay union dues even if you are not a member of the union.
The union does not assist you if you have been there one year.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't make me pay union dues if they can't help me within the first year. If you plan on laying someone off, do it before they tell you they are pregnant.
