Former Employee – worked at Grosvenor Capital Management
Pros – Open door policy to speak with upper management. Great benefits - 100% health insurance, gym fees and dues, parking/ commuting costs are covered.
Cons – Some groups have high turnover due to system issues. Some zero departmental groups have zero exposure to other groups in the same department
Advice to Senior Management – Upper management should informal check in on the various groups. GCM should consider spending less on certain costs such as toning done the annual picnic.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Former Employee – worked at Grosvenor Capital Management as an intern for less than a year
Pros – Very positive, young atmosphere. People were all very smart and great to work with. Communication and visibility were very positive, and very little office politics.
Cons – Client Services role was purely operational, very little client facing opportunity. There was also little upward or inter-departmental mobility. Role was very defined and not much opportunity for expanding into other departments.

Current Employee – been working at Grosvenor Capital Management full-time
Pros – If you work as a full time employee you get many great perks: great pay, bonuses, free health insurance, and more...... Very professional environment where everyone can provide input. Management treats employees with respect and care about work/life balance. This is a company that has very very low turnover rates and almost all the full time employees stay here a very long time.
Cons – Not much on upward mobility but that doesn't make the company not fun to work for.
Advice to Senior Management – Nothg, great job!
– I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Grosvenor Capital Management full-time
Pros – Great culture, very relaxed with an open door policy. A very horizontal organization where team members help one another out and are open to hearing different ideas to their own
Cons – Lack of growth opportunities - while you can move sideways, you cannot move up (as there is a glass ceiling). Some departments are treated as subordinates to others.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
