I worked at Group Ist full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Quiet and empty commutes for when you are required to work on a bank holiday. If you are a spiritual or religious person, you may find something of interest as most communication is done with churches.

    Cons

Constantly a struggle to get things done, management is outdated, out of touch with technological needs and there has barely been an update since they were founded. Lack of strategy and training, all efforts were put into sales and very little into the structure or the tours that were being offered. Client complaints were not generally handled, internal processes not recorded, no documentation resulting in if one person was away you would not be able to proceed and there was no coverage. Employee complaints also not handled in a timely manner nor was misconduct dealt with.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There are some great potentials for the business which aren't from expanding. You have a robust system that can be used and if the users are adequately trained in can make life a lot easier. Senior Management needs to be more open minded, considering suggestions from the staff and moving towards automation and checking items before they are given to clients and can not be changed later.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
