I have been working at Groupama Insurances as an intern for less than a year

ProsIn Gropama Insurance, your work and life is well balanced and the workmates are very friendly, what's more, Groupama in China is developing very fast.

ConsThe salary is not as competitive as other insurance giant.

Lovely people, shame about the old French parent company.

Financial Accountant (Current Employee)
London, England (UK)

I have been working at Groupama Insurances part-time for more than a year

ProsThe people are really lovely, and very flexible re. working from home, part time etc. The office environment is good, as is support. Benefits include private medical, cycle to work, performance related bonuses....

ConsSince October the company is part of Ageas Insurance Limited. The culture is changing, there are lots of redundancies. Many head office functions are moving from London to Eastleigh.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Ok, for a medium size insurance co.

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
Borehamwood, England (UK)

I worked at Groupama Insurances

ProsMost of the people are OK. Better now some of the deadwood has gone. Considering its size the benefits are good and salary sufficient. Good progression possible if you are in the right place at the right time.

ConsTends to be a very 'jobs for the boys attitude' to promotion. Hard to get on if you just want to do a good job and not spend loads of time mixing with the 'right' people.

Advice to Senior ManagementRemember that everyone has a voice.

confusion

Underwriter (Current Employee)

I have been working at Groupama Insurances

ProsManagement are actually okay on a human level: not so much pressure , quite a relaxed working environment. Flexible working hours, opportunity to work from home -although highly dependent on your own manager.

ConsOften different decisions on a day-to-day basis, sometimes hard to see the direction of those. No room for professional development or further training.

Advice to Senior ManagementMore straightforward decisions effecting the directions this company wants to go to. Respect of the staff. Enhancement of training possibilities.
