    Pros

    Good salary and benefits Nectar is a well known brand image

    Cons

    Long working hours (working on weekend is encouraged) Dated technology Blame culture - there is no emphasis on process improvement, everyone tries to blame someone else when something goes wrong Your manager has too much power - he can fire you at his whims!

    Pros

    Pockets of the company are very creative thinkers. Management is ambitious and will listen to good ideas. There is a very good culture and a reasonable structure for assessment and compensation

    Cons

    Very political and top-heavy. The combination of multiple acquisitions has not been absorbed into the company, with many vague roles and responsibilities competing for exposure.

    Pros

    Good benefits packages. Full training is provided.

    Cons

    There is an us and them mentality at Aeroplan. Workers are only a means to managments goals. There is a strong level of disconnect between employees and managment. Turnover is very high in both groups. All decisions are made on a corporate level from Montreal. Most employees are actually more competent than the management team. Managers finger-point rather than manage.

    Advice to Management

    Respect is a two way street. Listen and ACT on what your workers are telling you. They do know whats going on as they work on the front line.
