I have been working at Guest-Tek Interactive Inc.

    Pros

The opportunity to make a difference because you are working for a small to medium size company and each position is exposed to more functions. There's a feeling of family with the company due to size, traditions, and environment. There are some nice programs and activities that are promoted by the company to foster a positive environment to work in. The company seems to do a good job of valuing the work-life balance overall.

    Cons

As with many companies, sometimes communication doesn't flow in all directions. Due to its size, it's hard to offer a vast array of career growth opportunities. They do exist, but not like with a company of 10,000.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be a role model for front line employees. Treat them as you would want to be treated.

    Pros

Nice, relaxed work environment. Company provides free bagels once a week, free pizza once a month, free beer once a month.

    Cons

The company does not pay well. Bonuses are very rare and far between. Occasionally they force their people to work long overtime hours with no extra pay.

I worked at Guest-Tek Interactive Inc. full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

If you don't like to work, this is the place for you. if you job title has analyst or specialist in it, its just fancy name for call center employees, you are going to tell somebody how to turn WiFi on and off. You will never ever see real networking like router or routing protocols.

    Cons

There is no proper training, you are left on your own to figure out. There are no yearly reviews or pay raises. It's just a complete mess of throwing one problem from one person to another or duct tape with a lie then pass it to somebody else.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I don't know, it's beyond fixable.

    Pros

    - Good people that work in the office
    - Relaxed atmosphere you will never enjoy unless you're management

    Cons

    - Long hours especially if you work in client care
    - Management has no back bone, so they'll throw you under the bus at the drop of a dime
    - Since management has folded and given their clients all the power, you will be on the end of your leash when dealing with the clients, as they feel empowered
