    Stressful.

    Department Manager (Current Employee)

ProsGreat medical and dental plans, vacation accrues from first day. Your birthday is considered a holiday and everyone receives wellness time. Hopefully they will let you use it.

ConsBlack out periods for vacation, stressful work environment. Too little or too much communication and management - this company needs to find a balance.

    Great Company, However.

Store Manager (Current Employee) Washington, DC

ProsFast pace, great pay, great benefits.

ConsAdvancement is based on friendships and personal relationships rather than merit. Senior management seem to have no idea on how to run a company growing at such a flat rate. Some locations are near unmanageable due to the ill-qualified management in place.

Advice to Senior ManagementCreate a mission statement with a vision, execute it, and be consistent instead of preaching consistency.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Sales

Sales (Former Employee) San Fernando, CA

Prosit's retail. Do your job and you'll succeed. Expect long hours and sometimes not even being able to get enough hours.

Conslow pay. It's a retail job so just know that coming in. You have to be flexible and be willing to stand for hours

    Great for temporary work

Part-time Sales Advisor (Former Employee) Scottsdale, AZ

ProsThis is a fun fast-pasted environment that pays well for retail! I really liked working here because you have a lot of freedom to wear what you please without being discriminated against for tattoos, piercings, etc. There is also a 25% discount for employees which is great.

ConsI don't see it as a career path and if you do want to become a manager you might have to wait a long time.

Better than other retail jobs, but still a lot of work.

    Part-time Sales Advisor (Former Employee)

ProsThe people on staff have a unique personality and are hard working.
The pay is better than other retail jobs.
Fast pace to keep you busy.
Suggestions you make as a part timer are heard and recognized.
Learning new tasks toward a promotion are encouraged and also can be fun.

ConsManagement is usually never on the same page which can be frustrating.
Moving up depends on a lot of variables which can also be frustrating.
As a PT, hours depend on how the store is doing each week which means less hours per week for you.
The """efficiency model""" can sometimes conflict with providing customer service which makes the store as a whole look bad.

Advice to Senior ManagementHelp enforce your staff's suggestions with improving the store. Be the leaders and store can improve.
