    Heavy workload with minimal to no help
    Terrible managers
    Weekends are terrible
    Messy environment
    Nasty customers

    Advice to Management

    Don't be in a position you know nothing about.Many store managers and dept managers are hired out of desperation which in the end ruins the foundation of the store. Most have no clue how to run a business and don't do anything but sit in the office while all other employees are exploited.

    Pros

    You can grow your career without needing a degree, the benefits (even for part time) are amazing.

    Cons

    Management can vary altering the work environments, it takes a while to be able to grow within the company.

    Pros

    Good discounts & pay rates. Anyone can be themselves. H&M is expanding throughout the country so there is plenty of room for growth.

    Cons

    One major down side the hours of operation. You'll have to be open to working late night & early mornings, and the weekend.

    Advice to Management

    Being a manager at h&m one must have great communication skills. As well as be a people person. Always be a leader & think on your feet.

    Pros

    This is a company that truly cares about employees. They take care of part time employees just as much as full time.

    Cons

    I have no real complaints other than things can very from store to store which can be a bit confusing.

    Advice to Management

    Be a little more strict and make sure that you are holding your employees accountable for their actions.

    Always busy. Good pay. Can work almost anywhere at an H&M

    Cons

    Not a lot of support from district team. Crazy hours depending on what store.

    Pros

    Pays higher than minimum, sick days, vacation days and discount on regular and clearance items. Great team to work for.

    Cons

    Not very understanding. Manager can sometimes play favorites. Hours can be cut often. Development is slow

    Advice to Management

    Do better to spilt hours, understand life gets in the life. Try to promote to those for deserve it

    The pay is good . Starts yuu off at 11 based on expirence it could be higher.

    Cons

    They cutt hours . If your not FullTime Yu can get about 15 hours a week

    Advice to Management

    Communicate . Dont be a hypocrite

    Pros

    Fast-paced environment, there's always something to do
    good for those who like to be on their feet
    management is always looking for people who do the most
    most staff is friendly
    open to suggestion and are very flexible
    free snacks to eat and bonuses when we meet goals!
    health benefits even for part-timers

    Cons

    Flagship store = very demanding work
    layout is always changing so you need a good memory
    miscommunication some times

    Advice to Management

    Keep communication open between managers so employees won't get confused about what to do
