    Pros

    -Fun Office
-Interesting work, working one on one with people
-Opportunity to help people with their finances

    Cons

    -Ridiculously high prices
-Management criticism for lack of selling various tax products
-No commission for first years, so locked into near min wage salary regardless of performance

    Advice to Management

Did a great job. Wish they would be less pushy about selling borderline useless tax products though.

    Pros

The pay is good, the hours are flexible enough, and there's enough to do (as far as tech support and troubleshooting) to where phone calls don't become tedious or painstaking.

    Cons

Can't put in for time off during the tax season, expected to know tax theory for tech support (according to the people who call you), not much down time between phone calls.

    Advice to Management

The only thing I can think of, for tech support, is to provide more tax training so that navigation through tax software isn't so confusing for the tech support rep and less frustrating for the taxpro calling.

    Pros

Work on your schedule, great continuing educ program

    Cons

District managers have no tax experience, I managed 2 offices with gross sales of over 600k and 20 employees. I was pd $850 a week and worked 60 to 80 hrs a week. No benefits

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better. District managers work less than 30 hrs a week and make between 100 and 150k a year. Office managers make less than 11 k in the 3.5 months they work and no chance of promotion
