    Pros

    Good hard working people, getting recognized by nurses for hard eork

    Cons

    Not enough staff to resident ratio, never enough supplies, they would rather have us work short to pull aides to do 1:1

    Advice to Management

    Look at the heavy load residents and add more cenas to that geoup

    Pros

    Great rehab team to work with, and excellent interdisciplinary communication. Complex Care staff are very attentive to patients needs. More organized than most subacute facilities.

    Cons

    Middle management tends to micromanage their teams, tends to have a superiority complex. Nursing is often under staffed. Moderate potential for burnout.

    Advice to Management

    Corporate needs to loosen their purse strings and invest in both the building, and their staff. Middle managent needs a course in ethics. Passive aggressive statements are not professional nor appropriate, and add agitation to an already stressful work environment.

    It's better than no job at all

    You are at the bottom of the totem pole and they aim to keep you there.

    What comes around, goes around. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. ie: Be Nice

    Pros

    Good coworkers decent benefits and patients

    Cons

    Management is clueless and often close minded. Do not listen to employees. Morale is often low and full of never fufilled promises. Everyone os so busy covering their butts they refuse to work together and succeed.

    Advice to Management

    Follow through make the changes and listen To employees. Maybe pay a little better and give better raises based on merit not a scale.

    Ease up on the litigiousness, have a greater concern for your employees morale.

    Pros

    Very clean, very organized, friendly staff, Ipads make documentation timely and efficient to improve productivity

    Cons

    very fast pace with pt's scheduled back to back and no time to go to the bathroom

    Advice to Management

    Realize that pt's sometimes need one on one time and that the therapist may not be able to complete the evals and D/C at time of visit with pt. And if you want the evals and D/C done timely then trim them down. There is a lot of repeat information and areas that a therapist simply cannot assess all at once.
