I worked at HCSC full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent growth potential for professionals with leadership in Technical, Business and Operations demonstrated by active projects in the areas of technology and transition from old to new technologies.

    Cons

Rigid (but necessary) adherence to process creates a documentation overload that is unbalanced and adding to the cost of delivery.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Process streamlining and greater feedback from professionals prior to implementation of policies.

I have been working at HCSC full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Steady Paycheck, Paid Vacations, Fairly Inexpensive health insurance for single individual.

    Cons

Complete lack and disregard for training. Does not follow HIPPA. Management expects miracles and 80 hour workweeks when salaried. Systems were built in 1987 and are not compatible with each other. No structural integrity of both system and management. You answer to multiple managers and constantly get the run around and are never offered a solution. Management doesn't know their own systems. Retention is only 20%.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees. Learn your systems. Reward hard employees. Help your employees succeed. Change your management structure. Upgrade your systems. Stop relying on a system older then some of your employees.

I have been working at HCSC full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    You meet some interesting people.

    Cons

I have been fighting to get my correct wage paid. I recently learned that I am suppose to be making 8 dollars an hour but the company is doing everything in it's power not to pay it. I was suppose to start out at this hourly wage, but they chose to start me at 7.50 a big under payment if you look at it. I have been with company for almost a year and when you add it all up that comes out to a whole paycheck that I am owed in retropay.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you support your crew that work for you then your production will soar, but if you always in their faces with negativity your production will always be low. Happy employees are productive employees and they go above and beyond to look good and that makes the company look good as well.
