I have been working at HDFC Bank full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    1) Biggest bank in India as per Market capitalization so once you work here you got a brand name in market.
    2) If you are good at buttering of bosses and work like donkey without any innovative mind then this is best.
    3) If someone recognize your work (which is rare) and if that person is good then there is scope to go up the ladder.

    Cons

    1) No scope for innovative minds
    2) Stringent processes and senior managements pathetic approach of no change.
    3) Promotions cycle is minimum 3 years. Salary increment sucks. No social life. Labor exploitation.
    4) After-all Money is not everything. You want to spend life with your family not your colleagues and bosses.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Provide scope for innovative minds

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
