    Pros

Engineers have a lot of power in this company to influence many decisions. Not a lot of panic and stress in the work environment. Management is focused on getting the job done of course but in a manner that I really respected. I had no unreasonable demands during my employment.

    Cons

People can be very set in their ways going back to the IBM days. Resistant to change in other words.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up the good work.

    Pros

Good multicultural workforce, Asia colleagues are amazing.

    Cons

NO credibility or respect for the HR Leadership or function. Many employees recognize that the HR leaders are incompetent and need to be replaced. We hope WD HR takes over...

Salary and benefits are poor offerings.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clean house in the HR ranks and get respectable industry talent!

I like the diversity of cultures in this company, it works to the company's advantage. There is always a continuous drive for improvement and excellence so work has never been boring. There is a good work-life balance, and there is a sense of "familiness" within the company.

    Cons

The company has a very fast-paced working environment that sometimes training becomes a less priority over work output.
