    Pros

Competitive benefits, nation wide company, easy environment

    Cons

The company has so many branches that not everyone is always on the same page. If you work in a small little branch, things may get out of control & may not get the full support from the upper level management.

    Pros

Decent pay, free lunch, benefits are available at reasonable hours, coworkers were mostly enjoyable.

    Cons

Management needed more guidance at times, communication needs to be established.

    Advice to Management

Management, make sure your workers aren't being severely harassed by customers, take control of situations when we, the cashiers, need you! All in all, the experience was an interesting one. I got to meet people from all over the world sometimes and famous people occasionally too, which was kind of cool. Though, when loosing a contract in a terminal and you neglect to mention it to your workers....who you hired knowing they were going to lose their jobs was a no bueno on the higher ups.

    Pros

Free lunch up to $11, decent amount of work hours during on season (turnpike employee, on seasons = holidays, summer time). Definitely a great job for college students needing extra money over holiday and summer breaks.

    Cons

Overworked and underpaid at times. Will not allow for overtime. Understaffed a majority of the time.

    Advice to Management

Staff enough hourly employees during the rush times, and you will see better sales than being understaffed. Train staff and do not allow for down time to play on phones, etc

    Pros

Fantastic opportunities for growth & development (both personally and professionally), great people, good benefits although too pricey, vacation/sick time is okay, flexible, offers tuition reimbursement (hard to find these days), free meals, opportunities to travel. If you put in the time, follow policy & procedure, get involved, work hard, are passionate, believe and stand behind what the organization stands for it is & can be a great place to work! F&B is a tough industry to be in!

    Cons

Politics, too much emphasis on bottom line (yes it Host a for-profit organization), low level/ skilled management due to low compensation, we need to get better management on the field, too reactivate when should be more proactive, too many major projects roll out at once causing them to be ineffective or to fail, pay should be more competitive, more incentive programs needed for both exempt & non exempt employees, work/ life balance could improve.

    Advice to Management

Listen to our FOH & BOH associates & value & use their input to help us achieve our company goals. After all it is the employees on the floor who know what works and what doesn't work and what customers want. We need to listen to our people more. Corporate needs to be more involved and offer their support to the field--- too much separation exists between corporate & field, this isn't wise.

    Pros

Very flexible with work scheduling, double pay for holidays, free ham for Christmas.

    Cons

Slowed down a lot seasonally, hours got cut significantly.

    Advice to Management

The policy of no family relations is ridiculous. Lost very valuable long term staff members due to this when we were laid off.
