Prossome departments are very flexible and promote work life balance.

ConsLots of layoffs, on the road to offshore everything to India

Advice to Senior ManagementThink through the downstream impact on offshore everything to India, cutting cost by laying off talented local employee is not the best way to stay in business.

Not very rewarding but interesting and learning experience.

    Analyst (Current Employee) Paris (France)

ProsKnowledge developed for numerous sectors, relations with several departments of the bank. Nice working environment and satisfactory balance between personal / professional life. Quite challenging environment with a lot to learn. Satisfactory management.

ConsSome lack of team spirit, difficulty to gain responsibilities, old fashioned IT and systems. Salary and intern promotion a little bit below par.

Advice to Senior ManagementMore transparent benefits, better explanations regarding the strategy.

Cash Equity Sales Trader (Current Employee) Paris (France)

ProsGlobal house, multi assets tier rankings, Worlwide presence. Multi hub. Good atmosphere to work in, many professionals in every department.

ConsA very conservative house, where new products are sometimes not developped quickly as its much more important to satisfy global standards and entire regulmatory purposes.

Advice to Senior ManagementBetter contribution to excellence and dedicated employees , rewards...

    Challenging yet humane

Analyst - DCM Structured Finance (Former Employee) Paris (France)

ProsVery challenging environment, with a lot to learn for new hires in a short period of time. Futhermore, the management is highly concerned about work-life balance, and "forcefully" send every one home after 8pm

ConsThe salary and intern promotion may be a little bit below par. Indeed, the promotion system is pretty clogged, and due to the numerous hires and senior employees promotion is very slow and extremely competitive

    Actuarial Intern

Actuarial (Current Employee) La Défense (France)

ProsGood salary, and food. The work is interesting, and they give you autonomy and responsabilities. You won't have to make coffee or photocopies you will have to submit a significant work, good experience and formation.

ConsSmall team, not really opened to new arrivers and other services. Nice open space but sometime noisy to a work environment.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
