    Pros

Good and friendly environment to work in. HSBC is highly established bank throughout Hong Kong and many other international cities as well.

    Cons

The hours are sometimes long and boring, it is usaully an 9-6 PM shift with a hour lunch break. Not really content of the work provided.

    Advice to Management

The management should really keep in contact with their own employees. Lack of communication between higher management and lower employers. However, everything else is good.

    Pros

Very good work life balance. Easy access to upper management. Lots of opportunities for internal career advancement.

    Cons

Culture is too politicized. Many colleagues spend more time campaigning for their own careers than they do being productive.

    Advice to Management

Upgrade internal systems and do more to promote a meritocracy. Employees will be happier when their hard work speaks for itself.

    Pros

Friendly environment, very easy to the point of laziness. Great for those who do not want to be challenged.

    Cons

No accountability across functions. Communicated corporate culture is opposite of reality. Lots of projects, and nothing gets done.

    Advice to Management

Employee purge is needed to drive out poor culture, and inefficiencies in process.
