    Strong people, culture, attitude, and room for advancement.

    Relatively inferior pay compared to the street and less support for career movement outside the bank.

    Increase flexibility for geographical movement and require geographical movement during graduate analyst training.

    Pros

    The benefits coverage is better than average.

    Cons

    The macro environment was focused too much on a "Global" mentality. I understand HSBC has a very large footprint worldwide, however, the local individual development and growth opportunities were rapidly shrinking.

    Pros

    Fellow corporate employees are very bright, positive and a pleasure to work with. Most individuals are thoughtful, focused and take their responsibilities seriously. Leadership is focused on doing the right thing and enabling employees to succeed.

    Technology is way behind the times and on boarding process is disorganized and unclear at best.

    Processes and internal technology infrastructure needs streamlining and long overdue upgrades.
