A small to medium size company with decent employer employee relationship. Privately owned

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsOffers decent salary and other work packages like GC etc....normally don't expect any after work hours engagement...placement in a particular client has so far proven to be stable

Consonly one major client, does not seem to acquire new clients or have ambitions to grow...

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease look inside your company.....there are very talented and ambitious folks...they can help the company grow...also please be open to be challenged or other views... those who keep saying " yes master" are not helping the company....the bodies that get you the margins need to grow too!!

Zero Ethics, Master Slave relationship & Personal vengeance are 3 factors best describes this company.

Technical Consultant (Former Employee) Troy, MI

ProsThis company sponsors H1B visa for outside candidates in India since they don't have good any talent pool within their company.

Cons1) False promises: HTC recruits candidates by giving lot of false promises for the candidates who are joining. For e.g: they recruit outside candidates saying that they will make you travel immediately. But then, candidates have to wait in Offshore for 2 - 3 years to get some onsite Opportunity.
    2) Labor bond: They normally put labor bond in jobs. Even though, it is not appropriate in US, they are willing to do it.
    3) Zero Quality: It is funny about the type of the projects they handle. Most of the projects are of very low standards. Lot of employees are highly incapable. It is amazing to see the quality of the freshers. They recruit freshers from some unknown colleges, whoever is having arrears, whoever is jobless for many years. They pay them very less, put bond for many years and make them sit at company for many years.
    2) Zero Ethics: This company doesn't have any ethics at all. HRs and Managers are uncultured, they don't know how to treat their fellow employees. They will ask you to pay for H1b application fee: I presume, no good company will do it.
    3) No Brand name: It doesn't have any good brand name. When I got offer letter rolled out, I was literally searching for the existence of the company. No one has heard about it.
    4) No policies are defined in this company. Everything is case to case basis. You have to bargain with HR & Managers for the basic needs.
    5) When you are not satisfied with the company and want to move out. They will be rude and threaten you to pay money, they won't giving relieving letters, won't give good feedback e.t.c
    4) Very low compensation. No performance based bonus. No benefits.

Advice to Senior ManagementWake up guys. You are in the modern world. Get exposed to outside world. Try to learn from other good employees who join your company. Be motivated and be ambitious. Learn the business ethics. Treat the employees in a fair manner. Implement Open door policy. Grow up: Develop a positive attitude. Employees are not slave for you! Remember that they can also start a company one day, become big personalities.

    Good Customer Driven Experince

Systems Analyst (Former Employee) Bloomington, IL

ProsManagement was mostly hands off, allowing the customer to drive the relationship between them and the individual consultant. Great benefits package at a very reasonable cost.

ConsManagement was not interested in hearing or following through with new business opportunities presented by consultants.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen and invest more into your consultants, they have a direct understanding of your customer's needs and how to better meet them.

Good pay if you negotiate right - no career advancement, no training, no bonus

    Manager (Current Employee) Bloomington, IL

ProsVery good company if you want to work on a W2 or 1099 with a well negotiated pay. It is not easy to get raises and bonuses are non-existant.
No interference from the compnay hierarchy in terms of org politics or un-necessary performance appraisal.

ConsIt is not easy to get raises and bonuses are non-existant.
No training of any kind. Do not expect any recognition. The leaders of any account have very long tenures and very well compensated so they do not care.

Advice to Senior ManagementA non-growing organization is only suitable for persons who have reached the limit of their potential and growth. Invest in training and bonuses.

Senior Software Engineer (Former Employee) Bloomington, IL

Pros#Its a small company by number of employees so upper management is easily approachable
#pay is at par with other Indian IT companies
#They have a couple of long time big clients

Cons# Small and private company with not much process involved.
    # Only a couple of big clients so if those clients are out, it may be risky
    # Pay is not at par with other consulting companies in USA.
