    Cons

    Some bureaucracy, but its manageable.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Management is very friendly and offers you numerous opportunities to move upwards on the ladder provided you're willing to put in the work.

    Cons

No real cons to speak of, perhaps the only thing would be that the salaries lag a little other firms in the sector

    Pros

Interesting work, older colleagues open for questions. Great constructive feedback from supervisors. Good ambience among fellow working students in the department.

    Cons

Research sometimes surprisingly superficial. In one case growth rates for a country were "estimated" by downloading the IMF numbers and simply adjusting them to make them look coherent with related data. Not a very scientific method

    Pros

    - good work/life balance, especially good for your last few years before retiring
    - there are a few very professional and knowledgeable people all around

    Cons

    - some projects are taken ahead for months before suddenly dying
    - crazy people worked here in the past who set up transactions which make no economic sense and you may happen to be restructuring one if you are unlucky
    - pay in line with results, so do not expect big money
    - no cafeteria, need to go to expensive places to grab lunch
    - things that should be secret are public knowledge
    - things that should be known to employees are in fact unknown/uncertain/unconfirmed

    Advice to Management

A company focused on merely surviving will never attract big talents.

    Pros

it should give us financial security, and possibility to work in a team, be supportive and care about the most valuable asset - employees

    Cons

There is no team work, there is no clear vision of the company, whome to follow, poor organization and no care about employees

    Advice to Management

Reorganize the system, care more about lower level of employees, not just to run for the profit, care much more about whole enviroment

    Pros

Jobsicherheit, Kontinuität, 9to5 Job für vernfünftige Bezahlung

    Cons

schlechtes HR, schlechte Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten, trotz eines "europäischen" Unternehmens, Altersdurchschnitt gefühlt 45, wenig Dynamik

  11. Qualifizierte aber engstirnige Kollegen, Teams die auf leichtes Geld aus sind, langfristige Abhängigkeit. qualified but small-minded co-workers, full of old rope teams, long-term dependence

    (Translated from English)

    Pros

    - Qualifizierte Kollegen

    - motivierte Leute

    - positive Einstellung einiger Kollegen

    - qualified co-workers
    - self-motivated people
    - positive attitude of some colleagues

    Cons

    - the biggest problems: almost no leadership skills on any level!!
    - a lot of fake friendliness, everybody's looking only on his own career
    - very bad incentives to change this behaviour – it's sink or swim
    - long term dependence (people stay only because they don't want to go to Frankfurt after living in Munich for a couple of years)
    - diversity, if any, only on the paper, people with 200k/year would call colleagues behind their back f****t (a very insulting word for gay people) in front of the whole division and no one would care
    - incapable recruiting department (unable to attract good people, frustrated applicants)

    Advice to Management

    - Headhunt for experienced leaders from outside
    - Give the right incentives to good people, as some of the best people from my department left for competitors like BayernLB which is like transferring a dissatisfied Philipp Lahm from Bayern München to FC Augsburg.
