    Pros

    Very flexible in how you work your hours if you are a salary employee while being able to maintain a life outside of work.

    Cons

    Poor management from different levels of the company. Does not allow ability to prove of your capabilities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    No room for advancement what so ever. If you get a position within the company, you will most likely be stuck within the same spot for a long time.

    Pros

    There are a lot of hard working, competent and dedicated employees that really care about the customers. Financially solid and growing.

    Cons

    Very poor, unqualified, unsupportive management, that has no accountability. They don't internally post openings, so they don't like to promote from within. Pays raises and benefits are terrible for the amount of growth the company has experienced. Employees with the ability to make improvements leave because there is no appreciation and no recognition. Company is afraid to hire enough staff to alleviate overworked and overly stressed out employees. Too much brown nosing and favoritism going on and the President and Vice Presidents don't seem to have a clue.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Start paying attention to your metrics and who is truly making the improvements, not the management. Start promoting your hardest working and most qualified employees. Stop with the favoritism and start holding your management accountable. Figure out what it takes to keep your long term employees and maybe the President and Vice Presidents should start conversing with the staff (not management) about how the work environment can be improved and what would be important to us.

    Pros

    The only good thing about Hydac that I can say is that most of the hourly associates out on the production floor are amazing, friendly, and most of the time, professionl and respectful.

    Cons

    Team leaders are unprofessional, immature, and very unprofessional. Gossip about employees with their peers. Sit for hours on social media and online shopping sites and do nothing to contribute to the ailing state of the work environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Upper management is quick to blame the average joe employee for the failure of things. They need to realize they need to fix the problems at the top of the ladder to see success at the bottom , where it matters most. They need to realize what actually goes on with supervisors and especially team leaders. Brown nosing and tattleing on each other provides no relief to the severe problems that are ailing the company. The people you choose to supervise employees and production are supposed to be the backbone of a company. Yours, I'm afraid, is disease ridden and grasping to life. Take the damn blinders off and accept the fact that your leaders are failing you.

    Stay Away. Sketchy HR Department makes for an atmosphere of mistrust, all the way from the top down.

    Pros

    The work can be enjoyable and there are many good people working there. Work-life balance is favorable.

    Cons

    HR department practices border on illegal. The issue is at the very top and unless there is a major management change, turnover there will only continue to be bad. Unless you are at the top level of management, you will never prosper and HR will make sure of that by going the extra mile to put you in your place.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Clean house in the HR department. Follow the lead of other major companies and hire only the best, pay them accordingly and trust that you've hired someone competent and trustworthy.

    I cannot think of any

    Cons

    President does not know how to manage in the 21st century. He has outdated methods and does not respect his employees. Managers are terrible. Most of them should not be in mgmt. but because they are "yes" men or women he keeps them. No one is held accountable for their actions so the bulk of work falls on the few competent employees. When they finally hire a good person, they quit within a short time because they recognize it's not a good place to work. Bonuses and raises are not linked to performance and are extremely low. I would not recommend this place to anyone I like.

    Mr. President, you are not god, maybe you should treat your people with respect and they will want to do a good job instead of working out of intimidation.
    Managers, maybe you should start managing instead of just trying to please the president.

    Pros

    A good group of hard workers who are not in management.

    Cons

    Management is horrible. There is no planning involved, and the only way anything every gets done is if it is a reaction to something that went horribly wrong due to negligence. If it was not for the engineers, and technicians everything would have fallen apart. The people who end up trying to fix everything because of managements ineptitude end up working 10-12 hour days, and get no recognition for it. If you are not one of the liked employees, odds of you getting a good raise are pretty slim. This is well known that Hydac plays favorites. As of now many of the current employees are looking for a new job so they will have a ton of openings in the future, but it is due to all of current employees leaving.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get rid of all upper management and start fresh. Old upper management will not change since they still think they are in the right while still loosing employees left and right. Company needs to become more of a proactive company instead of a reactive company due to how big it has become. If it does not enough people will get fed up and leave.

    Pros

    Financially sound growing company with many hard working employees.

    Cons

    Outdated policies will eventually catch up with the company and discourage talented individuals from being recruited. Office workers can't work remotely even during inclement weather without forfeiting a half day PTO despite the expectation to work a full day.

    Trust your workforce, treat them right and they will do right by you. Modernize your policies.

    Pros

    The wages are ok not the best, insurance programs are good too and you can get into the 401k program in 6 months.

    Cons

    Mgmt salaryno overtime no advancement short breaks in 8 hrs 1 30 min lunch break 1 15min break they eliminate the other break tgo get more work out of you a cheap place.All jobs are undepaid for what you do there old out of dste equipment and assembly tools .

    treat people right you idiots cannot and will not do it Sell the comapny to peole who can run a company, i hope your co goes belly up

    Pros

    Everyday workers are good people. Some have been there a long time and really do care
    Some products are good

    Cons

    EVP and VP level are so paranoid it is ridiculous and do not trust the 'lazy American workers'
    HR manager cannot be trusted due to wanting to become a VP
    HR department confidentiality does not exist when it comes to sharing private information with the EVP / VP level or their secretaries (who blab to others)
    Salaries are not tied to work performance more to how much management likes you

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop using the HR department as your snitches & See the HR management for what it is
    Stop using the computer department to spy on workers
    Create a culture of caring through better pay and helping people grow
