    Pros

The pay, benefits and work to life ratio is a positive comparable to other companies I have worked for in the Northeast part of US. Haemonetics is trying to make a real difference in industry.

    Cons

The company has acquired approximately fourteen companies in nine years. Integration of people into the culture has been a stumbling block. A reduction in force seems to be the norm after their acquisitions. Constant organizational structure changes

    Advice to Management

Act on what is preached at "monthly town hall meetings". Increase communication overall

    Pros

    Collaborative work environment between employees
    Great co-workers!
    Life saving products
    401k matching and good benefits

    Cons

Qtrly earnings drives C-suite leadership strategy
Shrinking market opportunity in current business model
    Lack of product innovation
A lot of work with a little life mixed in

    Advice to Management

Focus on long term viability or sell.
Culture change requires new leadership -- not an outside consulting firm.
Employees are not fooled by CEO repeatedly having his leaders fall on the sword to buy time enough to achieve a billion in annual sales.

    Pros

    The company has good benefits.

    Cons

Management is a joke. There is no room for advancement. Raises are small to non existent. People are used for extra responsibilities and then not considered for advancement. There is a pass the buck culture. The only way to get anywhere here is to suck up to management.

    Advice to Management

Practice the values that you preach and value your hardworking employees.

    Pros

Pay is slightly higher than industry standard.

    Cons

Culture built on fear and intimidation. OPII's and Technicians throw each other under the bus. If you don't work lots f overtime you are looked down upon.

    Advice to Management

There perception of culture is incorrect. Many people in leadership have no clue how lead, mentor.

    Pros

Most employees want to do the right thing and are team players. Influx of talent from established Device Co's helped

    Cons

Executive team is totally incompetent, micro-managers, have no idea how to manage priorities and therefore there is no coherent strategy. The company is constantly in a financial crisis but plays coy with the investment community, masking the truth. The deal to buy Pall's business was a total failure, and sales are tanking (+ poor salesforce) - the only thing keeping this company afloat are the cost savings initiatives being driven by Operations. The company has lost numerous Executive members, but the CEO and CFO are still around... Meager bonuses are paid sporadically but only after infighting by the Executives. Despite the poor performance the CEO still pulls down 500k/Qtr in equity bonuses on top of his salary - should be telling. If you are considering coming here, ask employees candidly about issues, and better yet seek out former employees who have moved on to greener pastures

    Advice to Management

Let the experienced employees do their jobs and get out of the way, Stop trying to run the company day to day from the Executive committee meetings Get rid of the entire finance team and get people with Medical/Manufacturing finance experience, not Big 3.

    Cons

Not much room for advancement, raises, or praise.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Great local company to work for, excellent environment, good salaries, and great benefits.

    Cons

Too many overlapping projects, company is off-shoring some ops.

    Advice to Management

Rank and Stack projects, do not over load internal resources.

    Pros

Fellow workers are great! Work as a team when needed.
    Good Benefits.

    Cons

    Company lets go great workers.
Company makes money in spite of themselves.
Always a new flavor of the month.....whatever the new gimmick is at that time. ( Above / below the line, Who took the cheese, Branded Champions, etc.) Nothing is rarely ever followed through and used.

    Advice to Management

Think of the whole company and the people who make it grow and great. Stop thinking only of the #'s, and how you can fill your own pockets. RESPECT to all! Say what you mean, and mean what you say! Too much politics.
