Flexibility & career advancement opportunities with great colleagues

    Marketing (Current Employee)

ProsHaley & Aldrich continues to provide me with incredible opportunities and an extremely satisfying work environment. I've worked with all levels of staff at H&A on a variety of interesting and challenging projects. The company truly supports a work/live balance and schedule flexibility. I work with incredibly smart colleagues who are supportive and team-oriented (no "me first" attitudes in my group).

ConsIt can be challenging to get the time/attention of some staff to support longer-term projects (ie: the projects that don't have measurable or relatively fast ROI on results).

    Does not value junior staff

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsDecent benefits and pay, varied and interesting project work

ConsRevolving door mentality about junior staff. Lack of management responsibility and support and lack of desire to mentor junior staff. Complete free for all. No budgets and unsaid expectation to use your personal time to complete tasks with lack of any appreciation.

Bad economic times bring the worst out

    Engineer (Former Employee) Charlestown, MA

Pros- Start a career in search of something better.
    - If you want to work in consulting and not design
    - Gain experience as an entry-level
    - Want to move into management

Cons- Little to no design opportunities
    - No diversity in projects
    - Cookie cutter projects and planning
    - Little opportunity for growth for young engineers
    - A lot of demand on young staff and little recognition

Advice to Senior ManagementBe better with younger engineers and mentor them rather than seeing them as bottom of the pyramid. Offer opportunities for growth other than management.

    Great place to work!

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThe work is challenging and interesting. Staff members are given the opportunity to think creatively and voice their opinions. Co-workers are talented, dedicated, and fun. Great benefits and a flexible work environment. Very gratifying place to work.

ConsWould like more individual feedback about job performance. Hear this from friends who work for other companies so maybe it's typical for most work environments.

Advice to Senior ManagementSometimes the amount of data communicated during staff meetings means important points get lost.
