    Strong Leadership and Clear Mission

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsI loved working for Halfaker. Dawn is a wonderful leader with a wonderful drive for the overall success of the organization.

ConsAt times the military background of the senior leaders can kick in and be overwhelming to the "civilians". Discipline though appreciated can be at times overwhelming when you are not given the opportunity to explain your side of the story.

Advice to Senior ManagementRemember that your staff have personal lives outside of work. Be supportive of their needs. I wasn't allowed to go to doctors appointments without feeling guilty for not being at work.

Wrongly recruited for my position and terminated me based upon new guidelines.

Senior Design Associate (Former Employee) Alexandria, VA

ProsGood HR Department, Great IT department, overall nice employees.

ConsFalse advertising and unfair recruiting practices. These people strongly recruited me from my former employer, made false promises of providing training for the position and ended up terminating me based upon requirements that changed by new management.

Advice to Senior ManagementRecruit prospective employees fairly and with full knowledge of the position. Advertise job fairly. Give new employees a chance to get acclimated to their new job. If you say that you will train them, train them and give them a adequate time to learn their new skills. Be fair!

    Battle Watch Something

    Battle Watch Something (Former Employee)

ProsThe pay and benefits where ok at best. The human resources people where friendly.

ConsThis company told us one thing then two years later denied everything. Since we did not have it in writing they are right... Horrible communication or direction.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
