Former Employee – worked at Hallmark Aviation Services for more than a year
Pros – There are genuinely good people there as in the coworkers mostly.
Cons – I don't see how anyone can complain of the hours after you are hired. They do a decent job of putting out the odd hours of the airport since it's accordance to the flight times. That being said, the compensation is extremely low considering the responsibilities and work you have to put into. They are definitely shortchanging their agents with the hourly wages. You'd think with all the training, care and thought that goes into building agents for all the work they must put in and the money the airlines make with fees that are STRESSED by management the wages between an airline agent and a supermarket grocer would be diverse but it's pretty much the same... what does that tell you?
Advice to Senior Management – Spend some time with the higher ups on rethinking the wage issues. There's a reason why many people leave the field as fast as they enter. You'd save yourselves time, effort, and MONEY by not hiring/training new agents every 2 weeks because of this problem.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Former Employee – worked at Hallmark Aviation Services
Pros – Potential to work with multiple carriers
People/camaraderie
Constantly meet new people
Potential travel/flight benefits
Opportunity for growth
Intermingle with other airline and airport personnel
Cons – People!
Very demanding schedule
Airport employee parking system needs work
Not directly employed by carrier
Pay is lower than it should be for work required
Advice to Senior Management – Please train and update employees on new policies etc. BEFORE they are actually implemented, also you could stand to pay your employees a bit better. Other than that, a good company to work for!

Current Employee – been working at Hallmark Aviation Services
Pros – The environment is not bad. Co-workers are generally nice and friendly.
Cons – The pay sucks but they were upfront about it so it's what you signed up for. On the other hand, those who interviewed for the lead roles get paid the same for a lot more work. Those who applied for full-time status have actually been cut back hours. We were also told that there will be budget cuts so a lot of us feel like we've been lied to.
Advice to Senior Management – Never make promises that you can't keep. Rebuttals only get you so far.
