Pros
Creative thinkers challenge one another to strive for not "good enough" solutions for client, but rather a real range of options. High level of caring between employees. Word hard/play hard. Always striving to improve service. High focus on career success.
Cons
Sometimes struggles to hire enough people with the right skills, so people are often overloaded. That is ok for the short-term but not great in the long term. Some of the people working there seem to thrive on this overload, but not everyone.
Advice to Senior Management
Work hard on getting to the right team sizes so people are not overloaded. Provide more feedback to employees. Relax a little bit.

Don't play favorites. Realize that different people are coming to the company from different backgrounds - train them accordingly.
Pros
Halsall has an amazing variety of skill sets within its workers. Each department always has at least one highly skilled leader. They are seen as leaders in their industry and maintain a proactive public persona. Great individual and team potential, provided you get all your ducks in line before you start.
Cons
I've seen employees slotted early in their career development. Once pegged, it's hard to move to other areas. I've seen too many "newbies" leave after two or three years. Salary issues are sometimes not in keeping with others. Dispite internal numerous policies designed for individual growth, reality showed company support was geatly lacking.
Advice to Senior Management
Back up your words and actions with action. Don't shake your head when an employee has a great idea, then ignore it.
