Pros – Hansen builds a very cool product that has the potential to really help patients and surgeons.

Cons – Low morale among the teams and a lot of employee turnover, resulting in a lack of corporate knowledge staying in house.

Pros – the intent, commoraderie was there amongst workers

Cons – incompetent mgrs/dir/ in their jobs

Advice to Senior Management – hire people who are experts in the field of manufacturing catheters

Cons – senior management doesn't know what they are doing

Advice to Senior Management – get some help, don't try to manage by yourself

Former Employee – worked at Hansen Medical full-time for more than 3 years

Pros – - The company has great technology in the field of endovascular medical robotic.
- There are still some highly talented engineers and scientists left.

Cons – - The company's current CEO has poor track record in two of his previous companies (Surmodic and Vascular Architect). No idea why he was hired by the Board of Director.
- The company's senior management is a revolving door. Many of the VPs on the company's website are actually no longer with the company.
- More and more of the top scientists and engineers have left the company, and they are continuously doing so.

Advice to Senior Management – Time for the Board to consider succession planning.
