    I have been working at Hanson's full-time

    Pros

Work environment is friendly, helpful and caring.

    Cons

To many steps in doing things, people do not read notes, things get delayed when they should not be, when issues need to be corrected by the field agents responses take to long and it holds up completing orders. I think the sales people should be able to process work orders while on the job so they are not off on the sales price, so they are not ordering the wrong product, the wrong size, customer can be confronted on the spot if there is a issue with the product, size color, product, and than you have people in the office who can double check the product for codes that may have been over looked.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think the company seems like it is a great company, however I was disappointed to be let go so quickly, for lack of work, being as big of a company that you are and how long you have been in business you should be aware of the work you average month to month. You brought me into your company knowing I was leaving my job to come work for you guys, knowing that I have a family with 4 four children to support. I would have much rather been let go to not doing my job correctly, however I know that that could not be the case. I was doing a very good job, just was not moving forward very fast, but thats hard to do when the person you have training you is gone a lot on vacation. I just hope you take the time to think about people who are leaving jobs to come work for you, I was looking for a job I could keep learning and growing with your company, and retire. I truly thought i have a future with your company.

I have been working at Hanson's full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Hansons has one of the best working atmospheres I have ever been a part of. They truly make you feel like family right from the beginning. There are so many great people I work with and have became friends with. I love it here because every day brings something different and unexpected, but in the greatest possible way!

    Cons

I must say I don't really have any. I love going to work, and I work late just because I feel the need to stay and be around my "family"

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you're doing because we are only getting bigger and better every day!

I have been working at Hanson's full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I have been an employee here for over three years now and I can say Hansons is a great place to work. The culture is amazing, the atmosphere in the office is fun, and the people you work with are like family. The training they give you is second to none and helps you grow with the company. This is a company that want's the absolute best for their employees and rewards you for your hard effort. Working for a company who shows their appreciation makes you love your job. Hansons has a great support system, from co workers, to management, to even the owner himself, you can go to anyone at any time for help. Everyone shares a common bond and is willing to bend over backwards to help.

    Cons

I don't really have any. However, at times like any other job, it can get stressful at times. So you may have to work some long hours or handle tough situations at times, but it is all worth the reward in the end.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Thank you for pushing me to be a better employee and a better person in general!

    I worked at Hanson's full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Decent income potential. Extensive training.

    Cons

Very disorganized in scheduling. Branch manager clearly showed favoritism on a regular basis. A lot of time wasted on driving to cancelled appointments. Many prospects who were scheduled weren't financially qualified to make a purchase. Many of the sales reps cut corners and lie to homeowners to make a sale.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Schedule appointments in areas that are closer to where the sales rep lives. Too much time gap between appointments. Remove the arrogance within the local and upper management levels and treat sales reps with professional respect. Get rid of sales staff who lie to customers and lose no sleep over it.
