    I worked at Hara Partners

    Pros

As a new developer the CTO is a very helpful person, really works to help you learn the ropes.

    Cons

Tight budgets, poor project management, constantly dealing with unhappy clients, management makes unrealistic promises to clients, no benefits whatsoever, salaries way below average.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees on time, give them benefits, don't lie to clients.

    Pros

Office location in midtown. Former co-workers are now some good friends of mine. Good place to get any title you want as a web agency without the necessary experience. Get your resume fluffed here.

    Cons

    * The current office is small. Actually tiny like a closet.

    * 5 people (sometimes 6) in a space where it should only hold 2 people.

    * Chairs are constantly bumping all the time, conversations talked out loud is very distracting.

    * Sweat shop atmosphere. No Startup atmosphere. They've been in business for 8 years now.

    * I feel burned out everyday yet there are no clients / work to do.

    * Micro-managed by "management" who needs their ego's boosted.

    * No diversity at all as I am the only female designer left.

    * Salary is way below industry standard. I work jobs on the side.

    * Paychecks come whenever they feel like paying me which is scary.

    * There is zero benefits ... ZERO.

    Advice to Management

Probably best if we can just go back to working at home. Why bother with the overhead?

    Pros

CEO is very smart, and his company can survive even without paying landlord and employees.
CTO is very strong in googling code and copy/paste them (Look at their Github account). He is also good at making bugs and asking budget for maintenance.

    Cons

Employees live in fear of whether or not they will receive their next paycheck.
Company has been blacklisted by Magento from too many complaints from clients.

    Pros

They had a great office and nice open space, which was conveniently located near Herald Square. Employees could come and go as they pleased.

    Cons

They are the best web development undertakers in the business. They can take a perfectly good website and or business and bury it.

    Advice to Management

Go to clown school and enhance your career. Magento kicked you out, move on with your life.
