Advice to Senior Management
Make sure the GM is doing their job, and not pushing all the work over to the shift leaders.
Pros
The job is very fast pace. We care about our people
Cons
hard when you have to let people go.
Advice to Senior Management
more bonus
Pros
Why work at Hardee's? Well maybe it's not as disgusting as other jobs. You still like the food compared to others places.
Easy
Lots of customer service experience
Friendly coworkers
Food Discount
Convenient
Cons
I disliked a lot of the cronyism at Hardee's, I hated the waste of food, I felt like I was either swamped or there was little to do.
Advice to Senior Management
I wish they'd relax the rules regarding food, offer more training and put starters on a different shift.
Pros
If you stay there long enough, a management position is feasible. If the manager is a good one, the food is typically better quality than when compared to other fast food chains.
Cons
Except for management positions, the pay is low. Quality of the restaurant is largely dependent on management. Sometimes not enough people working to take care of sustained rushes. Schedules are not consistent from week to week, even when there are no new hires or people leaving.
Advice to Senior Management
Try to make schedules consistent, or at least schedule more than one week ahead. This would mean fewer employees would have to request off when planning appointments, etc.
Pros
-It's a good job for high school students and if you are an assistant manager or higher.
-benefits available
Cons
-If you are a GOOD worker, you will find this work environment stressful.
-Raise when min. wage goes up only.
Advice to Senior Management
Customers are not always right! Don't push your good workers away...Have employee/manager meetings once in a while.
Pros
You will gain experience with working in a fast food environment and realize the hardships the employees have to face.
Cons
My first day of training was a very hectic. The manager who hired me was not there and left me with her assistant manager and employees. This was my very first job, so I expected to be trained throughly in how to function a cashier before being put into the fornt end. Wrong! I screwed up every ones order and had not a clue as to what was going on because the employees did not care to help me that much. As soon as my shift was over I realized this job was not for me and quit.
Advice to Senior Management
Make sure to not set someone who's training for their first job shift up on a busy day and make sure the employees cooperate to train this person well enough to do their job.
Pros
I was able to meet great customers and friends here.
Cons
My paycheck bounced numerous times. No one else actually worked.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep the place clean & don't hire as many crack heads.
Pros
Food was discounted pay was ok
Cons
Conditions are ok but it was hot
Advice to Senior Management
Pay better
Pros
Will work with your schedule
Cons
Poor pay to be treated the way you are treated
Pros
food. getting rushes are fun and pass time. most of it is pretty simple work.
Cons
need to weed out bad employees. recognize better employees. poor pay. I've worked there 7 months minimum wage and never get a raise. they hire this other slow worker and he gets 8 bucks an hour..
Advice to Senior Management
I don't care if you are my boss. If we are deep in a rush, 15 minutes late on 4 orders and the screen is still full, put down the clip board, stop taking inventory and COME HELP!!
