    Pros

Things are always changing. We are making a profit despite decline in revenues .

    Cons

Quick to make decisions without a plan. Movement towards centralized management. If you do not work at Corp office your career growth within company will suffer.

    Advice to Management

Make a plan for change and execute flawlessly. Right now employees are suffering from poor leadership and execution.

    Pros

Very organized, great communication between management and staff. Great benefits package, paid training, fun place to work.

    Cons

Rising cost of products made it difficult for customers to afford products needed. Also, rising cost of shipping was preventing customers from using the protection offered on shipping their orders.

I have been working at Harland Clarke full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Get vacation time when you start, benefits are great, start paying into a 401K for you when you start working for them. Willing to work with you if you need time off. Every other week you get a 3 day weekend.

    Cons

12 hr shifts, on your feet all the time, normally doesn't close due to weather, some of the people are hard to work with.

I worked at Harland Clarke full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There are no pros to this place. Do not go to the Phoenix plant. Management sucks. No organization.

    Cons

If you like working every Saturday and being under appreciated with getting crapped on from managers everyday. Then go apply. They have benefits but truthfully it's not worth it. The Phoenix plant has nothing positive. It's actually dangerous. People get physically hurt on a daily or weekly basis. Too much machinery in the plant and the management and upper management does not care about people getting hurt. All they care about is the numbers.

    Advice to Management

Fire all of your phoenix managers, hr and upper management and start over. They are completely useless.

I have been working at Harland Clarke full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Loyal to their employees....but to a fault Good benefits. A movement towards differentiating from the check Young and hungry employees coming on board

    Cons

sales force is way too old. Too much leeway is given to AE's who have put in a lot of time. New solutions are too mail centric. Direct Mail is going the way of the check and too much is invested there. Investing in the wrong business, ClickSwitch>LoanEngine You need to et rid of the check managers. Too much arrogance, they live in the past

    Advice to Management

Start a creativity program. Encourage employees to come up with their own solutions rather than going out and acquiring a flavor of the week. Stop focusing on direct mail "data driven" solutions. You need a younger management team that involves millenials....especially as your boomer aged salesforce has become irrelevant or they do not fully comprehend solutions. Enough with the arrogance of the check, it's 2015 not 1988.
