Best place to work if you hate to dress up. Shorts, T-shirts, and flip flops if you want. Flexible with in/out times.

    Sales (Current Employee)
    Sarasota, FL

ProsVery casual dress policy, and this place is not hardcore about start times. One day you can come at 7:45 AM, and the next 8:30 or even 9:00 AM. Just make sure you do your work. Lunches can be as short or as long as you need them, of course within reason. You can have a long lunch. If you feel like. Just don't do it everyday.
There's ice cream day. Nice treat. Thanks management for that.

ConsThe company is poorly managed. Pay is not competitive. (But flexibility makes up for some of it). Very tight working quarters, and not the best equipment to perform your duties. The CRM (salesforce) is all web based, and the internet service is down or slow many times during the day. Making it nearly impossible to accomplish your tasks. Very frustrating. The volume of duties and call received is crazy, and almost call center like, yet you also have a lot of other things to do, that require concentration. But the amount of calls makes concentrating nearly impossible. Stress level is raging. Some employees are flat out useless, and that adds to your workload. HR is a joke. Senior management is a mix bag of surprises. Some are very capable and knowledgable, while some are just focused on their work. Thus ignoring all the issues surrounding their employees. Can be very hostile environment at times.
Raises? Not at Harmar. Profit sharing? That was a thing of the past. Been about a year since a profit sharing has been paid. Work load is more than twice of what it was a year or two ago. Pay is the same.
Parking is horrible. You'll end up parking on the street. Very unsafe for you and your car.
I'm sure it could be worst too.
Overall. This place is better than many places. It just needs better management.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet a reliable internet service provider, clean, useful equipment, outside sitting areas (that are NOT smoking) and are not all the way in the back of the plant, on a dirty dusty lot. There's no place to enjoy your lunch outside, or to simply enjoy your break out on fresh air.
Having rats, and bugs flying around all the time is NOT fun. Let's not mention how unhealthy it is. Please do something.
Parking is a nightmare, please address that.
Stop buying refurbished rubbish as office furniture. Looks like we work in the Goodwill.
Stop with the silly town hall meetings and fix the darn building, the 2 bathrooms will be a good start. Yes, only 2 for a million employees. Stinks... Literally.
I am sure there's lot more. But you get the point.

    Thank you.

Not the worse place to work, but.... far from the ideal.

    Territory Sales (Inside) (Current Employee)
    Sarasota, FL

ProsVery casual dress code, flexible with work hours.
Great computer equipment. Most staff has a dual monitor set up, nice phone system and some departments are paperless.
The company is growing quite rapidly and they are hiring most of the time. The turnover is below the average company in my option.
Weekly pay and quarterly profit sharing plan, with direct deposit from day one.
Good medical benefits (insurance) after 90 days.
    GYM membership reimbursement.

ConsThe base salary is comparable to an entry level college job.
The commission it is basically a tease.
The Sales Quota is unattainable. During the past year, it was only met a handful of times by a few of the territories and it was by sheer luck. To only be penalized on the following month with an even more unrealistic quote to fill.
Expect your numbers to be in the 80% range or below, and the raises are non existent.
Some managers are great and some are totally clueless about what they are doing. (but most are friendly)
Even though they have been trying to improve the work conditions, they remain sub-par.
Restrooms are a handful for such a large team and half of the restrooms are plain nasty, old and dirty.
There is a large abundance of insects, rats and roaches that harass you during your shift.
There is no outside area to sit, and be able to enjoy your breaks, unless you are a smoker.
The only break room is in the back of the building, and you must walk through the plant to get to it.
The offices are overcrowded and sometimes are even hot.
There is lack of parking space. You will either park on the street (illegal areas) or in a dirt area, where trucks are usually driving by (dangerous) and if it rains, it all floods and it is a total mess.

There is more, but by now, I am sure that you get a good idea of the place.

I would not say that you should not work here, but at least you now know what you are getting in to.

(This is based on my personal experience only)

Advice to Senior ManagementIt will be great if the facilities are improved further. Specially parking and the pest problem as it is a major issue.

Otherwise, keep up the work and best of luck in the future.
